Requirement review and definition
AMTI's Engineering Branch evaluates each customer's specific request, in a timely manner, utilizing the same
analytical process that has made our products synonymous with power and performance. Each request is evaluated
with inputs from the entire design team to ensure the best solution for the customer. Following the process
guarantees that customer needs are met from concept to reality, from design to production. Once a solid business
case is made, the resources are allocated to design the solution or modify an existing product that meets the
customer's needs. Our recommendations include engineering cost, time and materials ... the complete package based
on your defined needs.
This cross-functional team consists of electrical, mechanical, software, and test engineers that have experience
ranging from DC to a Giga-Hertz. High frequency/High efficiency DC to DC converters, audio processing, and RF
power amplifiers are our core engineering specialties. Our test engineers develop through automated production
test stations and extensive engineering test ensure high quality reliable designs are delivered to our customers.
We understand and design our amplifiers to meet the requirements of military wave forms such as SINCGARS,
HAVEQUICK, SATURN and other high data rate, analog voice, and military hopping waveforms.
Prototyping
We utilize in-house rapid prototyping equipment to speed up the mechanical development process and reduce the
overall cost of a design. We have in-house circuit board design capabilities that significantly reduce the timeline
developing new PCB's and other equipment. Depending on the complexity, new PCB's can be designed and in-house for
testing within few days.
Testing
Our design process ensures that manufacturability and testing are key elements in the solution. This ensures a smooth
transition from engineering prototype to production. Our latest product, the A-320 multi-band amplifier, is an
excellent example. It has advanced capabilities that far exceed the competition and in a very short time has become
the manpack amplifier of choice. It is smaller than any other comparable performance 20W amplifier, weighs only 24
ounces and provides full-rated power across the 30-512 MHz frequency.
Manufacturing
As an ISO certified facility, AMTI's reputation for quality stands out. Of the thousands of products in the field
and in combat, very few are ever returned for warranty or repair. Each has a 36-month warranty that as a result of
our attention to detail, provides more than just quality control. You get quality assurance.
Our products are made up of dozens of parts. From a tiny drop of solder to assembly of printed circuit boards, wire
harnesses and more, each product goes through an intensive quality control process. Each and every finished product
goes through exhaustive testing process before it is shipped. Some of these tests take hours but we won't ship
without a product passing each and every one of them.
